June 19 at 10/9c, everyday people, who’ve been thrown a curveball or two from life, get the ultimate surprise when friends and family work together to pull off a covert room makeover designed just for them. In each 30-minute episode of RENO, SET, GO!, produced by Scott Brothers Entertainment, co-founded by Jonathan and Drew Scott, a family and a team of expert crafters led by designer Cheryl Torrenueva and contractor Roger Morin perform a top-secret renovation for an unsuspecting homeowner while they are purposely kept out of the house. Nominated by their spouse or family member, each unknowing party thinks it’s just another normal day, but little do they know that they are about to receive an incredible makeover in one major area of their house from a special team of designers, contractors and numerous accomplices paving the way. From start to finish it’s a family affair and all hands are on deck as everyone works together to plan the design and execute a custom room renovation in under 36 hours.
All the unsuspecting homeowners featured in the series are in desperate need of a home refresh and have overcome challenging situations while remaining positive and inspiring others with their enthusiastic outlook on life. From a couple who maxed out their savings on costly fertility treatments, a single dad whose life revolves around his tween daughters and loving parents to two young children with special needs, RENO, SET, GO! is a family-friendly renovation series that combines construction, clever design and masterful suspense all in the name of giving back to some very special individuals.
As a complement to RENO, SET, GO!, starting today, amateur renovators and home makeover enthusiasts can watch a six-hour renovation of a children’s playroom in real time at DiscoveryFamilyChannel.com. From start to finish, viewers will get a behind-the-scenes look at the entire makeover process from removing old carpeting, installing wood floors, painting the walls and building a loft as part of a special renovation that will be featured in an upcoming episode of RENO, SET, GO!.
